With respect for privacy regulations, which are now governed by Legislative Decree n. 196 of 30 June 2003 (code regarding the protection of personal data), all the useful information regarding the processing of personal data is supplied, regarding which safety and confidentiality are guaranteed even in cases where such processing comes about through telematic or more innovative channels.
The current regulations call for greater attention to be paid to the collection, filing and maintenance systems used for personal data, dividing them up into to two different levels: identification data and sensitive data. The latter includes information identifiying racial and ethnic origin, religious, philosophic or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of political parties, trade unions, religious, philosophical or trade union associations and organisations and personal data that identifies a person's state of health and sex life.
We do not request such data either directly or indirectly and in cases where such data is provided casually at the time of registration or indeed during the personal data collection process, due to the will of the person in question, it will not be recorded or stored in any manner.
In particular, every candidate may contact the office that Archeo has assigned to deal with such matters according to the manners outlined below, requesting confirmation regarding matters relating to the processing of their personal data and requesting indications regarding the origin, the aims and the manners by which such processing is carried out; candidates also have the right to request the cancellation, the anonymous transformation or the blockage of data that is being processed illegally or indeed the updating, rectification or integration of such data if they so wish. The candidates may also oppose the processing of such data if such is to be used for forwarding advertising materials or for direct sales or for the fulfilment of market research or indeed the communication of sales information.
More specifically, we wish to point out that the data collected will be used exclusively to guarantee the operational effectiveness of the functions relating to the site itself and for the aims for which the data was initially provided, therefore including aims relating to normal commercial and communicative relations. Granting of consent for the processing of personal data is necessary for such an aim. In cases where a client should refuse or subsequently cancel such consent it may not be possible to guarantee the availability of the services offered at the time of registration.
Archeo also acknowledges this regulation as far as data security is concerned. Personal data subject to processing is stored and checked in relation to the knowledge acquired on the basis of the technical process, the nature of the data and the specific characteristics of such processing, so as reduce the risks of loss and destruction, which may even be accidental, to a minimum along with the risk of non authorised access or processing that is not permitted or not conformant with the aims of the data collection, such will be attained by means of adopting suitable and preventative safety measures.
